Dr. Violeta Azis

Dr. Violeta Azis is the head of the Center for Psychological Support at the University Hospital “Lozenets”. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in the field of psychosomatic diseases, a psychodrama therapist and specialist in Group Dynamics at the Institute of Group Psychology and the Austrian Association for Group Dynamics and Group Psychotherapy (ÖAGG), a certified Tele'Drama practitioner – at the international ITI Institute - the only legitimate global organization for training specialists for online work.

She teaches at the Master's Program in Clinical Psychology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” .

Since 2010 works as a clinical psychologist at the University Hospital "Lozenets".

Consults hospitalized patients in all departments of the hospital - patients with psychosomatic complaints; before and after cardiac surgery and other serious operations;
hemodialysis patients; before and after liver and kidney transplantation, families and relatives of patients; patients with oncological diseases;

Member of the Society of Bulgarian Psychologists, the Bulgarian Association of Psychotherapy, the Association of Psychologists and Psychotherapists in Medical Structures and the International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP)
